Wisconsin Cheeseman Review and Holiday Ham Giveaway!

The first ‘vacation’ that my husband and I shared together while dating was a camping trip in Wisconsin.  I have very vivid memories of this trip: right down to the music (311- From Chaos CD!).  The campground we stayed at was near a cheese shop – and that shop started our forever-long tradition of going to cheese shops every time we’re in or drive through Wisconsin.

Believe it or not – we actually keep a cheese board and knife in the trunk of our car – JUST in case we ever find ourselves in Wisconsin, with some newly purchased cheese for our trip.

Now that we’ve been holding true to the tradition, we are very sure of the cheeses that we love – So when the Wisconsin Cheeseman approached me to do a review and giveaway, I knew exactly what I wanted Open-mouthed smile

It was the first thing I looked for on The Wisconsin Cheeseman website.  Sure enough, they had it!  I was happy to order it (even over the large gift baskets I was able to choose from!).

I also ordered some Cheese Curds. I know some of you are asking, “What are Cheese Curds?”.  I’ve got an entire post dedicated to them.  It shocked me when I learned that most of the world doesn’t know what they are.

Tonight we made Butterkase Macaroni and Cheese. We followed a recipe I found online, but it was bland – so I’m not going to share the recipe with you. We ended up adding twice as much cheese as was called for – and even melted the last of the cheese curds we had into it. wisconsin cheeseman review

Isn’t it pretty though?  Otherwise, we fully enjoyed our Butterkase cheese and cheese curds over the last few weeks.

I did consider ordering a sprial-cut ham and swiss cheese – but I figured that it might make me feel entitled to preparing it for Thanksgiving or Christmas or something, and I didn’t want that weight on my shoulders.  I’d rather bring the cheese tray!

    The very core of your writing while appearing reasonable initially, did not sit very well with me after some time. Somewhere within the sentences you actually were able to make me a believer unfortunately only for a very short while. I however have got a problem with your leaps in assumptions and one would do nicely to help fill in those gaps. In the event that you can accomplish that, I would undoubtedly be amazed.

    With LED tape there are usually cut marks with a icon of a pair of scissors every 10cm. You can only cut the tape at these points as it gives you a position to solder to. If the tape doesn’t have cut marks then typically it can’t be shortened. Hope this helps.
