My boys are total *boys*. So when they see something with trains, planes, or automobiles – or any combination of those: They’re pretty excited.
I was thrilled to get the Big Adventures Action Fliers in the mail for them from Little Tikes. When we got it here, I hid it in the box until Ethan went down for a nap, so Andrew and I could put it together and play on our own for a bit (because Ethan likes taking things apart…)
We had a lot of fun putting it together, and even MORE fun sending the little truck down the hill or the ramp.
But when we figured out that the airplanes SHOT out of the truck… that’s when the play picked up to be loud enough to wake Ethan up! We were having so much fun!
We would line up the airplane into the truck – and as it gets to the bottom of the ramp, the truck is triggered to release the plane, which shoots across the room! So fun!
There is a small helicopter, and a place for it to land, as well as a few places to park the airplanes.
Countless hours of fun.
One of the things that I didn’t love so much, was that some of the pieces were easier to take apart at my toddlers’ careless and destructive hands – therefore requiring mom or dad to be with them and fix the problem areas. But that’s with most of the ramp toys that we own, as well. My husband has every intention of using some of his power-glue (not a technical name) to get them to stay together, because this toy is super fun!
A really neat thing, is that you can hook this set up to other Big Adventure toys from Little Tikes, and have the entire play set going!
