Hey all! Today is the official release day of the newest VeggieTales movie featuring Kellie Pickler as Mirabelle in Beauty and the Beet. I have to say how much I adored this movie – it was so cute – and again, I hate to admit how many times we’ve watched it – as it would be admitting to many hours in front of the TV!
One of life’s biggest challenges is being kind to people, even (sometimes especially) those who don’t seem to deserve it. The importance of unconditional love and acceptance is a great lesson for kids –- and, let’s face it, one that even adults need to be reminded of regularly.
It’s also the lesson at the heart of the upcoming VeggieTales musical Beauty and the Beet. Mirabelle, the sweet potato who stars in Beauty and the Beet shows that it’s not always easy to offer love and compassion for others -– especially people who have made you angry. But, as she puts it in one of the story’s memorable songs (which we’ll be telling you more about soon), “It’s what God wants me to do … the person God wants me to be.”
This brand-new VeggieTales musical, which features 10 new songs, premieres Oct. 14 exclusively on DVD and digital download.
I have gotten a few of the Vege Tails DVD for my niece and nephew and they love it! I would love to get this very good DVD with a positive message for my niece to watch. I bet the music is great with Kellie Pickler
I want to get my baby some of these DVDs when he is old enough 🙂 They are so cute and the lessons that they teach are so great!
how cute ! I didnt know they were coming out with this movie. I havent introduced my LO to veggie tales but I know she would like them. i know this will be another great one
i have loved the veggie tales movies since i was a kid! I’m glad they are still making new ones that my kids can watch now. The songs have always been one of the best parts of the movies

My kids love there VeggieTales DVD’s and we have a ton of sing along cd’s in the car for long trips. Great for kids!!
