Tiny Love Gymini Developlace
We love Tiny Love. They make fun, colorful, interactive baby and toddler products and we haven’t reviewed a single rotten one yet. Micah loves them and Emersyn has already discovered how fun it is to stare at them. She watches the Tiny Love Magical Night Mobile at night and is always enthralled, plus she sleeps in her Rocker Napper when the youth are using her bedroom. She also loves floor play mats (great exercise and fun toys!) So, when we had the chance to review a Gymini Developlace, of course I was thrilled! As I expected, we love it!
Gymini Developlace: The Basics
This Tiny Love play mat is called Developlace because it can grow with baby. It starts as a big play mat with fun crinkly and grab-able toys, then fold up:
One side for tummy time
Both sides for a smaller area
One of the sides for a play-wall with numbers 1-3, a net and a peek hole
Both sides for a tunnel. So many options!
Tiny Love Gymini Developlace: The Good
The Tiny Love Gymini Developlace is fun! It has a super cute squirrel as the main toy and cute little ball, number circles and animal-ring for swinging at and playing with. It’s also super easy to put together but hooking the two bars on and snapping on the two plastic pieces. Plus, no batteries required!
The length of the Tiny Love Gymini Developlace is awesome. It’s big enough for both of my kiddos to play together, which they love to do. Best of all, being able to fold up the sides means Micah can play with the numbers on the play wall while Emersyn plays on the mat. And Emersyn can have tummy time looking out at the world, or look at the colorful scene on the folded-up side.
Tiny Love Gymini Developlace: The Bad
The hook-and-loop straps that hold the sides up sometimes comes lose and the corner falls in a bit. It doesn’t happen often, only seemed to happen after a few hours and a little encouragement from our two year old.
The mesh-and-plastic ceiling to the play mat makes it so the whole thing can’t fold up flat to store under or behind a couch without taking it apart. No big deal, we use it everyday so putting it away would be a waste of energy.
Tiny Love Gymini Developlace: Overall
I love our Tiny Love Gymini Developlace. Emersyn happily plays on it for good chunks of time, Micah plays on or around it and the play wall can help him learn numbers! We did add some of our own toys on longer chain rings for easier grab-and-chew-ability. It would make a great Christmas gift for the babies (and mommies and daddies) in your life!
