When I saw the Lalaloopsy Littles Sew Cute Patient doll, I just knew we had to get one for my niece. She’s in LOVE with Lalaloopsy. Stumbles Bumps ‘n’ Bruises is the very first Littles feature doll that launched and comes with her loyal pet bear for your child to help patch her back up. Stumbles was sewn from a nurse’s uniform and needs a little help with recovery herself.
You child can play either doctor or veterinarian by working on Stumbles and her bear. Stumbles’ forehead “boo-boo” disappears and she comes with a removable cast on one leg for when she’s been made all better. The ability to change her appearance helps to make children feel like they’re really fixing her.
You can help Stumbles feel better with her sippy-cup of milk that magically disappears as you tilt it. I know it’s an old trick and we had doll accessories that did this a couple decades ago, but this is still great for young girls! It makes the accessories seem more real and keep them interested.
This Sew Cute Patient set comes with a who array of make-it-better tools: medicine bottle, heart-shaped bandage, milk cup, stethoscope, thermometer, and a bandage for the bear’s head. When you push on the stethoscope it makes funny heartbeat sounds, or other silly noises that are really cute! I think that particular part of the set is great not just for play, but for teaching children a little more about what a doctor does (especially for a child with anxiety about seeing one).
