In honor of “Finding Dory” and Nature’s Harvest® teaming together, we had our own fun lunch creation, creating Dory-Inspired lunch, with Shell-Shaped Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.
We made Clam-Shaped Grilled-Cheese Sandwiches with Nature’s Harvest® Butter Wheat bread on our panini-press for the grill marks, then used the clam-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the sandwich. Also placing a pearl (Blueberry) into the clam. I sliced a celery stalk for the sides and sliced some peaches for the bottom of the reef.
I found the small Nemo and Dory characters in the dollar-spot at Target. They’re erasers! I washed them of course, and my kids are definitely old enough to know not to eat them- but keep that in mind if you’re serving to younger children – that they might need to be reminded that they’re not part of the meal!
And obviously we had a lot of fun eating them, too! (I loved eating the opposite portions of the cut-outs… YUM!)

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
