The weather is already hitting 100 here in AZ, easy. So, we have already broken out the summer clothes, sandals, and swimming suits. My favorite new summer accessories – Lands’ End Knotted Espadrilles and Lands’ End Princess Tankini Swim Top! Both were sent to me by Lands’ End for review; opinions are 100% my own and not influenced by compensation.
Lands’ End Parker Mid Wedge Knotted Espadrilles
Ok, I don’t know what an espadrilles sandal is, let alone a Mid Wedge Knotted Espadrilles, but it’s cute! I’m not a girly-girl by any means, but I do like wearing skirts and cute sandals on dates or to church. So, when I saw these sandals on the Lands’ End website, I was excited.
When they came in the mail, I was just as excited! They are cuter in person than online and fit perfect! The height of the wedges is tall enough to make me feel sexy but not so tall I’m feel like I’m doomed to break an ankle. The shoes are a soft, secure fit on my feet, and the backs are adjustable so they’ll still fit if my feet grow a bit. I’m super excited to keep wearing these knotted espadrilles (really, how do you even pronounce that?) all summer, and all winter since it stays sunny and beautiful here!
Lands’ End Beach Club Princess Tankini Swim Top
Being a youth pastor’s wife means I have to be extra careful about putting forth a modest yet cute appearance, especially out with the youth. Those girls need to see that it’s possible to look cute and be modest. Swimming suits are no exception. So, the Princess Tankini Top is perfect.
I like tankinis because I can mix and match tops and bottoms and they just feel cuter than one piece suits. This top is also high and fitted enough to be modest and still cute. Plus, the fitted stomach is perfect for my growing baby belly! I ordered the top a little big knowing I have lots of growing to do throughout the summer, so it’s a little lose but totally wearable now.
The Princess Tankini top also has a fitted bra area so I don’t feel like I have to constantly adjust the ladies. Yay! And the behind-the-neck halter strap has always felt sexier that regular straps to me for some reason. Overall, I love it and I’m looking forward to wearing it all summer!
