I was given the great opportunity to review the Proactive Comfort Pillow from Sleep Studio and I could hardly resist! I mean, take it from this side-sleeping mama, who has neck and back pain quite frequently and can never find a pillow that seems to work just right. Most of the time when I have a stiff neck, it is because I slept funny on it -usually with a pillow that’s too tall for my neck and huddled up into a ball under my neck to make room for my shoulder.
This pillow has multiple features that makes it an amazing pillow:
- ViscoFresh memory foam – which is extremely comfortable and luxurious
- A neck cradle for back sleepers that can actually align the body for maximum airflow, creating less snoring!
- The neck contour for side sleepers leaving enough room for your shoulder while aligning your body. (This is an amazing feature that any side-sleeper will love!)
- Ventilation from top to bottom which keeps the temperature of the pillow to a low, no more sweaty pillow!
- It has a green-tea formula that is eco-friendly and to me smells like a light chocolaty mint. It is quite pleasant.
- Most importantly, it is hypoallergenic and naturally anti-microbial!
I immediately fell in love with this pillow. Pretty much the second I laid my head down on it, I was in heaven! My husband has been begging to borrow the pillow to see if he likes it too, but I just can’t let myself go a night without it now. He got a chance to use it yesterday while he took a nap in the afternoon and now he wants one!
The last two mornings, I have woken up with a happier attitude and much less pain (I tend to get pain in my lower back from sleeping) I’m sure that I’m tossing and turning a lot less because even my husband is sleeping better (he is a very light sleeper and is awakened by my tossing..) This morning I got up and was ready to go at 6am and the kids weren’t even up yet! (That Never Happens!)
I would absolutely hands-down recommend this pillow to anyone. I’m sure we will be investing in another one for my husband in the very near future.
