This time of year I (like so many of you) always have so many things to accomplish. Too much almost! On top of the extras, I still have to keep up with my regular chores that I despise (Like toilets) – and for these chores, I love music! Music keeps my kids dancing, and keeps my mood up long enough to get those toilets clean and the floors shining. Fortunately I received some great new speakers that keeps me moving through the house (even room to room!) without missing a single beat. . These numbers mean nothing to me: so let me show you about these items!
To start I always let my husband play first. He’s my technician and knows how to set things up and then just show me what I need to know – which I love him for! 
The Polk Omni S2 Wireless Speaker retails for $179 and is an ultra-compact speaker that surprises you with sound, especially given it’s size. It can fit virtually anywhere, and until a giant tree moved into our living room it was resting under a chair – offering surround sound for even our smallest ears in the house. Or maybe it is because my husband likes to fall asleep on the floor (amazing Carpet lets that happen!) listening to music. One thing my husband liked is that we can change out the grille which allows this speaker to be white or black on the front – so it can sit anywhere discreetly.
The Polk Omni S2 Rechargable Wireless Speaker retails for $249. It is fantastic because allows my work to be carried out in places where there aren’t even any plugs or cords aren’t very compatible. Dare I say I placed this speaker into the boys’ bathroom. When I was cleaning it the other day (Ew! Boys miss.. A LOT) I wasn’t missing a single beat of my MIchael Buble Christmas CD. My husband said this one will be stationed outside much this summer – because it delivers amazing sound while still being weather resistant and ruggedized for casual outdoor use. It can also play up to 100 feet from the wireless router – so It will definitely reach the garden! Hopefully I can use music to distract from my fear or spiders?
The Definitive Technology W7 Wireless Speaker is another great speaker to put anywhere where space is limited. I love how this speaker has a ‘Tri-Polar’ configuration: which radiates the sound off of surrounding walls and therefore sounds amazing – no matter which side of the speaker you’re standing on. This speaker for us fits perfectly in our kitchen – right between the kitchen and dining room. I use this counter a lot for cooking and therefore need the space: but often I go back and forth between the kitchen and dining room, and I never have to turn the speaker so I can hear it better from one side or the other. The W7 is Probably my favorite of the three speakers – maybe because I spend the most time in the kitchen – but it is also the most pricey (What Can I say!) at $399 retail.

I love to listen to music in my kitchen while I’m cleaning or cooking.
