One of our favorite places to visit –ever- is the Wisconsin Dells Kalahari Resorts. We’ve gone there every year now for three years. One year we went three times!! We make sure that we have family time, that everyone isn’t to busy to spend time together as a family, just relaxing or having some fun.
We love the Dells! We tried to spend time as a family as much as possible but with differing schedules it’s hard! Sometimes it’s just chilling on the couch watching Scooby Do!
We’d like to get there this year too!
We always try to sit down and eat dinner together and have a family day where we always do something together! Sometimes we will go bowling, or visit a park!
We do outdoor activities together once a week
We make sure to have at least three sit-down dinners a week and that really helps to bring us closer and slow down.
We go to museums together whenever we can – we are fortunate that so many of them (plus the zoo!) in our hometown are free because of a zoo/museum tax district. Picnic lunch in the park, and take in an exhibit or two? That’s a good day.
