Learning Essentials ABC & 123 picnic activity set
Micah is just starting to get a grasp on recognizing numbers and letters. We’ve been working on it intermittently for a while, so when he started naming letters more freely, I decided we should work on it more directly. Learning Essentials makes some great ABC learning games, and Micah was super excited to open the Learning Essentials™ ABC & 123 Picnic Activity Set. This set not only helps with letter, but the flip side has numbers! Plus the ants, letters, numbers and one dice are different colors to encourage matching and color learning as well! Learning Essentials™ ABC & 123 Picnic Activity Set is immediately fun for my little man since it has ants! He loves little bugs, so playing with the ants is no problem. The little booklet comes with LOTS of fun game suggestions, or just make up your own! Micah loves to roll the dice, so he rolls the color dice, pick the right color ant, and puts it on the letter I tell him. Or tells me the letter he puts it on. Whether he’s following the rules or not, there are colors and letters involved, so he’s learning!
The numbers are too hard for Micah for now, but that just means the game can grow with him! Maybe eventually the ants can pick out letters to spell words, and he can count better than 1 2 3 4 5 6 8 10 11!
