When I was pregnant, we got Micah a baby doll to help him relate to having a baby and feel involved. Now he watches me interact with baby E and he was super excited to get a V Tech Baby Amaze Learn to Talk and Read doll! Baby Amaze is a cute little baby with a bottle, pacifier and three books that interacts through buttons and putting things in her mouth.
Micah likes playing with Baby Amaze because she’s cute and he has fun interacting with the baby like I interact with baby E by feeding her a bottle. He also likes being able to push the buttons on her bib to hear her talk and make noises. He hasn’t quite gotten a hold on the concept of reading to baby yet though….
Baby E also likes to interact with Baby Amaze because babies love other babies! She loves the face, hands and noises. She pushes the buttons but is a bit too young to really have any meaningful interaction. Soon, though, she’ll be able to learn and grow with Baby Amaze because this V Tech toy grows with you! Baby Amaze gradually learns more words, up to 70 words! She “reads” the books to herself and has more meaningful interaction, which means she can grow with your growing and learning little one.
Seems like she’s growing too fast? Have another baby? Baby Amaze has a reset heart button on her battery pack to reset her back to “newborn.” No, that doesn’t mean crying and pooping! It means very few words, ready to start learning again, I’d say closer to about 16 months old, just a few words and interactions and gradually learning more!
There are just a few things I don’t like about Baby Amaze, mainly being that she is SO pink! But I don’t like the color pink so I’m biased. Also, she says mama a lot, I wish they would have programmed daddy into her language. Overall, Baby Amaze is a fun, interactive, grow-with-me doll for your kids to enjoy!
