National Foot Health Awareness Month
April is National Foot Health Awareness Month. Didn’t know that did you? It makes sense, with spring cleaning and warmer weather, we spend more time on our feet and less time on the couch with hot cocoa (hopefully!). So, what better time to start paying attention to how you are treating your feet? After all, your feet are incredibly important and affect essentially everything. PROFOOT wants to help keep your feet happy and healthy with their many products! They sent me a few products to share with you, opinions are 100% my own and not influenced by compensation.

I’m a nurse, in an ER, which means I spend the majority of my three 12 hour shifts a week on my feet. Comfortable shoes are a must, and being nice to my feet becomes more important every year. Plus, being pregnant means more weight, a different center of gravity, and painful hips and back. Keeping my feet healthy and happy helps balance everything out. So, I tried out the PROFOOT Custom Insoles. Peter did too! (He spends tons of time on his feet, especially on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays.) They help cushion our feet and keep good posture. So far, it’s like turning cheap Walmart shoes into a fancy, super comfy, expensive pair. The insoles cut to size easily, slip right into the shoes, and can be switched to different shoes anytime.
PROFOOT also has a soft Pedi-Rock (it’s actually squishy!) and Heel Rescue Foot Cream, which promise to make my feet softer. Honestly, I’m kind of a tomboy and I like my rough tough feet because I don’t like wearing shoes unless I have to. So, I haven’t used the rock or the cream very much. I did spread the PROFOOT Heel Rescue Cream on my feet a few times, and it’s a great lotion! It felt smooth, didn’t leave a greasy layer, and did make my callouses a little softer. And it doesn’t have the weird smell most foot creams do!
