Great STEM Toy Review- Geomag GREEN LINE Color Magnetic Building

Toys are a lot of fun, and when you are exploring STEM building toys category, you will find out that there are many options to check through. Geomag 42 pieces magnetic building set is great for children ages 5 and up.

We all know the value of STEM toys for children, and maybe even specifically for young children. We had the opportunity to try out this cool toy and reviewing the Geomag Magnetic Construction toy with my son was great fun.

What is this Geomag Magnetic Construction Toy?

The Geomag Classic Panels set is a 42-piece set of magnetic plastic rods that can be used by those aged five and up. The age restriction is caused by the addition of marble in the toys’ makeup; this can cause choking hazards in children less than five years. This is very much a deluxe set, priced at $34.99 exclusive of delivery and made out of 100% recycled plastic. Indeed, it delivers on its Green line promise.

Taking it out of the box

In the Geomag green line construction set, you will receive 42 pieces, including 2 bases, 20 stems, 20 balls. The construction opportunities are ‘limitless,’ and play encourages fine motor skills, learning by playing, creativity, and imagination.

The bases come in a plastic bag, but the rods and balls are packaged in a plastic box. It’s a shame there isn’t a similar casing for the bases, but on the positive side, you won’t be chasing balls and rods around a toy box.

The truth is, unlike custom construction toys with an end product in mind, the Geomag green line construction set is genuinely limitless.  It all comes nicely packaged in a recyclable box, I love this!

How do you play with it?

The rods are magnetic, and the balls are metal balls. You can get started by either attaching balls to the rods, getting them to ‘stick’ together, attaching the base or rods to the balls or each other. As such, the options for creating are quite endless. The magnets are quite strong, Jamison enjoyed pulling them apart and reattaching.

Conclusion

As a STEM toy, it is smashing the targets. The fact that its construction ideas are limitless means that children playing with it can build whatever their minds can bring up. Overall this was a great toy that we really enjoyed.

We received a free product in exchange for an honest review. Opinions are 100% our own
