My kids love crafts! While their art currently is generally unrecognizable, I’m excited for the day they can make things like RoseArt mini charms! The Charminis are cute rubber charms they can make into necklaces, bracelets, or more. Even better, they can make them using their imagination and
creativity.
The RoseArt Charminis kit comes with a plastic “tree” for keeping charms and to use as a workstation, more than 60 charm pieces, and everything you need to put them together. Then make some fun necklaces or bracelets! Just add water and a dose of imagination. The idea is super cute. Make pieces of pie, stars, hearts, and so much more. Plus using water as a bonding agent cuts down on the potential messiness. There is a bit of glue to spread on to make the glitter stick, but the glitter process is actually quite mess-free too! The glitter dome keeps the glitter inside, then pull out the little tray to re-use the glitter that didn’t stick. Attach a ring to whichever place you want on each charm to hang it however you please.
This craft definitely takes patience. The bonding process takes 2-3 minutes to take hold, which means per piece. So, a pie might have 3-5 pieces plus the ring depending on your idea, it’s going to be 10-20 minutes to create that piece. Then let it dry for 20 minutes before doing the glitter process. Keep this in mind when you decide if it’s something you child will enjoy or not. Some kids can sit and do a craft like that, others can’t. 2-3 minutes is way faster than regular glue though!
My kiddos are definitely too young to enjoy this yet. I imagine my little girl will LOVE it around 7 to 10 years old. What a fun way to create custom jewelry and gifts!
