Over the last year I’ve had a lot of fun playing a lot of different apps on my iPhone and iPad, and now I’ve found another really fun one called GoSum
GoSum is very similar to a game of Scrabble or Sudoku – similar to Words with Friends, except… with Numbers!
Yes, that’s right – It’s a Math program, which can help you sharpen your math skills at the same time as having fun! Perfect to get your tweens and teens back into the mood of studying!
You’re given a set of numbers, as well as a few math symbols, and you try to put them together to make a working equation!
Although, you have to work along with the other player as well! You can have up to four players going along – either in a ‘pass back and forth’ mode, or online with friends, or strangers!
You play off of their numbers, to create your own. It can be as easy as doing 1 + 3 = 4, or as complicated as 65 x 7 = 455.
My husband and I have been playing back and forth now, trying to stump each other. It takes a lot of thought to make the equation really long, but it’s a great challenge!
