Fun ideas for the kid’s bedroom

We all know that our children’s bedrooms can be chaotic places that are packed full of fun, yet can be a bit lacking in elegance! But just because the floors are invariably littered with toys doesn’t mean that our children have to suffer having a bedroom that’s outdated.

This is because there are plenty of great children’s bedroom designs that can give your little ones some room to play, along with some lovely beds to make sure that they get a well-deserved rest!

This cool kids’ bedroom instantly shows how they can enjoy a cool contemporary look that’s packed full of enough fun to keep things interesting. With calming neutral colours wonderfully offset by splashes of colour in the monster-sized Lego bricks, it also has a nice compact bed to allow for plenty of play space!

And if space is really at a premium, then it could be an idea to think about getting a bunk-bed. This will not only add more sleeping space for two, but by having two beds in one, then a quick look at the Bedstar site shows that bunk beds can even be pretty stylish and provide plenty of room for an extra play den!

Regardless of what kind of bed you choose, a child’s bedroom should always include plenty of colour and imagination. Whether you’re allowing your little one to pursue their airborne dreams with the cockpit-inspired design in the picture above, or helping them learn the alphabet with some lovely animal-themed wall stickers, it all shows how kids’ bedrooms should be places that are full of fun and wonder!

And finally, it’s always issues of storage that seem to dominate any kids’ bedroom design. And this bedroom shows how some stackable boxes and nicely designed shelving units can be a real life-saver when it comes to tidying up all of those toys. Although it’s also worth mentioning that a good divan bed with storage units underneath can also do a great job.

So whether you’re decorating the room in tribute to your child’s current obsessions, or just maximizing space with bunk-beds and storage boxes, there are plenty of ways to create a great kids’ bedroom design!
