Blind Taste-Test Challenge by Brookside Chocolate Fruit & Nut Bars! #TalkAboutDelicious

I’m not one of those people who you can convince to stick their hand inside the box with the hole – just to feel and guess what’s inside. I’m not that brave! But eating while not being able to see is a whole different story! Especially when you know that the food will be related to Brookside Chocolates! Who doesn’t love them?

People who visited the Mall of America (in Bloomington, MN) this past weekend were in for a real treat, while blindfolded! The makers of Brookside Chocolates set up a pop-up ‘mini dark room’ for mall-goers to taste their newest product, Brookside Fruit & Nut Bars! Why blindfolded? Because they wanted people to experience the wholesome ingredients, real fruit pieces and of course – their infamous dark chocolate.

How fun is that?! The guests were able to pick out all of the fruit flavors in each bar and decide which were their favorites. MY favorite? The Cherry with Pomegranate Flavor. My husband and boys both love the Blueberry with Açai Flavor.

After testing all three varieties of the Brookside Fruit & Nut bars – my oldest son asked if he could have them for an after-school snack. Of course I said ‘Yes!’ Anything to help him not complain while doing homework is a win in my book! It was great for pushing off those after-school hunger pains while waiting for dinner, too.

Every bar contains whole ingredients – almonds, fruit, rolled oats, pumpkin seeds – and dark chocolate. They are made with real fruit, have no artificial ingredients or cholesterol. They’re a good source of fiber, vitamins A,C,E and are low in sodium!

I just love these bars and I’m sure that we’ll be getting them for more snacks around here! Brookside Snacks are a great treat to have on-the-go or at home!
