Micah loves bath time. Well, he used to love bath time. Until he got old enough to put getting in the bath and getting his hair washed together. He hates getting his head wet, so bath time could be a battle. Then TOMY sent us some toys to review and now he goes to the tub multiple times a day just to look at them and ask when he can play with them again. Whether it’s the TOMY Fountain Rocket raining down water on Micah’s, or a regular cup, he still gets mad about it, but the fun toys help him move on faster and not try to climb his wet, soapy, slimy body out of the tub into my arms.
The Fountain Rocket is fun, it fills with water and all flows out the bottom when I life it up. According to it’s online description, turning the dial changes the fountain, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. It’s fun to watch the water flow out and confuses Micah that the water comes out like an umbrella and there’s no water in the middle! Plus the starfish is cute and wiggly.
Then the TOMY Water Whistler dolphin is a cute bobbing dolphin that whistles as it fills with water. It’s doubles as a squirter, but it doesn’t squirt straight so watch out for eyes and phones!
Finally the TOMY See under the Sea Submarine is a fun submarine boat that floats and sings a little tune. The little animals in the windows light up and there are see-through fish in the bottom of the hole. Pushing this blue scope makes a series of a few different sub-related noises, though sometimes mine glitches and doesn’t work. Then flicking the top can make the walrus launch into the water. It’s kind of confusing for me, but Micah loves it. He loves the little walrus and making the boat swim and sink and float around. When he’s happy, I’m happy.

Lena (who is only 2 weeks younger than Micah) LOVES bath time! All except hair washing! Ugh. It’s always a trial! Toys don’t work much for distracting her. Some nights are better than others. She loves bath toys, though. So after the terrible hairwashing is over, she is a happy girl 🙂

Well it’s actually shower time here! Dd takes a shower with me and she loves to play with toys while I am washing her hair!
