aden + anais Swaddles and Giveaway!

aden + anais Swaddles

A few months ago my sister-in-law told me how much she loves her aden + anais swaddles. So I was thrilled when aden + anais sent me my own pack of swaddles to try and review for you! Opinions are 100% my own, and I too am impressed with the aden + anais swaddles!

Aden Muslin Swaddle Front

Babies spend 9 months packed inside our bellies, so it’s no surprise that they enjoy being held, cuddled, and swaddled when they come out. That’s where swaddles come in – and there are lots of good options! I’ve used and loved Halo sleepsacks and swaddles, regular receiving blankets, and now aden + anais swaddles. Regular blankets really just don’t cut it, they don’t stretch enough and come loose too easily.

Don’t know how to swaddle? There’s a handy little diagram with instructions on the back!

Aden Muslin Swaddle Back

aden + anais swaddles are the right size and the fabric has the right amount of stretch to make a good swaddle possible. And the lightweight fabric means I don’t worry about baby getting too hot, even in our Arizona weather. Plus, the cloths are useful for so much more!

Other uses for aden + anais Swaddles!

Breastfeeding – lightweight and big enough to cover easily, totally awesome for the time when you do choose to cover up.

Blankets and Cuddling – soft, lightweight and cuddly, with lots of super cute patterns!

Cover the stroller or car seat

Play Peek-a-boo

Lay on the ground for tummy time or play time

Wrap around yourself and tie the ends together as a sling-nursing-cover-cuddle-cloth

(RED) and aden + anais

For a limited time aden + anais is teaming up with (RED) for a very special, limited-edition collection of swaddles, dream blankets and bibs. 10% of every retail price goes straight to (RED) to help prevent the spread of AIDS specifically from mother to child. The medication that prevents a mother from transmitting AIDS to her child is only about 40 cents a day. For many women it is unattainable, but with the help of this collection, we can make a huge difference.

My dd is a pretty good sleeper. She has just moved into her own bed after Christmas last year after sleeping with us off and on for 6 years! She relapsed and was sleeping with us again over the summer but is back in her own bed now that school has started!

I don’t even know how to begin saying how much I LOVE these blankets. My daughter is 20 months old and we’ve been using the HECK outta these muslin cotton blankets, that are simply magic cloth, since her birth. I’m an Amazon junkie, being that we live in the boonies of Georgia, and I discovered these by way of awesome blogs like this one and took a chance. I’m so glad I did. There is nothing that compares to these and even now, she clings to them, won’t sleep without them, and settles down immediately with them. If you aren’t convinced, I’ll tell ya a little tale. My girlfriend came by with the kids one day, bound for Disney the next day, because our hubby’s were “workin’ on somethin'”. Her little boy was inconsolable and fighting sleep. I offered a pink sheep Aden & Anais blanket and he was OUT. DO YOU HEAR ME?! OUT!! She said, “heh…um… can I borrow this for the trip?!”. I of course let here and she eventually got her own. They are AH-MAZE-ING. <3 Just get em'.
