Do your children love to help others? How about coloring?? My boys don’t necessarily love coloring, but they definitely love to give and help others. Benihana (one of our absolutely favorite restaurants!) is once again holding its annual Children Helping Children coloring contest, which beneifits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
We were able to go to Benihana for Andrew’s Birthday – It’s his super-special place to eat, so we surprised him right after school with a trip there for dinner. Our kids just love watching the chefs and all the fun they have in store for us – and it surprisingly keeps them entertained and they gobble up every last bite (and beg and beg and beg for more shrimp!!!) They can hardly wait till we get back there again.
But right now through May 5th – Benihana is inviting children to visit their local Benihana and draw a picture of what Children Helping Children means to them. For each picture received, Benihana will donate $1 to St. Jude Children’s Research hospital. On May 6, Benihana will select one submission from each restaurant that best fits the ‘Children Helping Children’ theme to win a dinner for eight!!! (YuM!) So head up to your local Benihana location today and pick up a contest form!
ALSO: Mark your Calendars and make reservations for a night out to Benihana’s on Monday May 5th! Benihana is donating 100% of the menu price of all Kabuki Kids Meals sold on this Children’s Day! It’s a great way to chip in. We will be there for sure!
