Looking for a Safe and Comfortable Car seat?

Try the Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Car seat featuring Safety Surround Side Impact Protection

When it comes to traveling with a baby, the absolutely most important items to have is a safe and comfortable car seat. That’s where the My Ride 65 Convertible Car seat featuring Safety Surround Side Impact Protection comes in. This brand new Graco car seat is comfortable, easy to install, great for babies 4-65 lbs, and super safe. The My Ride 65 Convertible Car seat by Graco is definitely a good investment for any family.

As soon as I got the Graco My Ride 65 convertible car seat, I was overwhelmed by it’s size. It looks huge in my little living room! But considering it an adjusts to fit children 4-65 pounds, it has to be big. I was also impressed by how soft and comfortable the My Ride 65 is! It has a super soft little insert for newborns that comes out easily as baby grows. The head support piece is also super comfy and supportive, and is easy to move up as baby gets taller, until you take it off for bigger kids. I wanted to curl up in it and take a nap!

Adjusting the Graco My Ride 65 Car Seat

Before I even put the Graco My Ride 65 convertible car seat into my car, I adjusted it to fit Micah. The My Ride 65 is incredibly easy to adjust, but the adjustment straps are on the back of the car seat so it would be really hard to do after installing it in my car. Just looking at the back, I was able to figure it out. I looked at the manual, just for kicks, and the Graco manual was fantastic: simple to read and very informative.

Putting a baby into the Graco My Ride 65 Car Seat is easy!

After adjusting the shoulder straps (the straps should insert just below the shoulder level to secure baby well), I tucked Micah in to test it out: it was incredibly easy to snap and tighten him in place. The tightening strap is in the front. WIth a tug, it is simple to tighten him in appropriately, and then by lifting the catch I can easily loosen the straps to let him out. And the buttons to release the straps and diaper and armpit level are easy to snap in and release out as well. It is way easier to put Micah into his Graco My Ride 65 than any other car seat we’ve tried.

Baby is Ready

Easy to Install the Graco My Ride 65 Car Seat

The My Ride 65 car seat looks big but fit well in my Pontiac Grand Am. With different LATCH system straps for forward and back facing, and a little ball to know it’s at the right angle, it was quick and easy to snap it in, tighten it up, and go! So we did. We went shopping, took a lot of trips to visit family in Byron while Nana Nubs was in town, and drove up to the cities to visit more family there!

Peter’s car doesn’t have the LATCH system, but the Graco My Ride 65 also has places and clear instructions to safely install the car seat with a seat belt. Micah is too small to try it forward-facing yet, but I’m absolutely certain it will work just as well that direction! The Graco My Ride 65 has little feet the pull open to make it sit at the right angle in any vehicle.

Baby Asleep

The Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat is Super Safe!

I wanted to know how well the Graco My Ride 65 would protect my baby, so I crashed. KIDDING! I would never do that. Just looking at this car seat, though, it looks WAY safer than any other car seat I’ve seen. The head piece is very padded with EPS energy absorbing foam, as are the side and bottom, and essentially the whole rest of the seat, haha. In testing, the Grace My Ride 65 car seat rates twice as well as other cars. The straps are solid and easy to tighten, and the whole thing fits well into my vehicle. I feel very good driving with Micah tucked safely into the My Ride 65 Car Seat. If I ever do crash, I will let you know how it holds up!

A Safe Head

My baby Loves the Graco My Ride Convertible Car Seat

Micah LOVES his My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seat. He used to cry in his regular car seat, I think he was lying back too flat for his liking, it was hard to get him in and out, and he kept dropping his toys over the sides. The Graco Convertible Car seat sits at a good angle for him awake or asleep, he doesn’t cry while I snug him in, and the cup holders make great toy holders! Plus, the cup holders are plastic so they make a fun noise when he bangs his toys on them.

Comments

  1. Looks like a great car seat

  2. Robin Wilson says:

I really like the Safety Surround Side Impact Protection! A child should be surrounded like that. And though he looks so tiny in it now it is nice how he can grow into it. Some car seats make it almost impossible to get the child in and out, glad to know that this is not a problem with this one. Great marks all the way around!

  3. thats nice that it keeps you from having to buy a new one as he gets older

  4. Do you have a photo of the back of the seat? I recently had to adjust the straps and I’m not confident I’ve done it correctly (don’t worry, it’s not in car yet!). The illustration in the user manual was not at all helpful
