I have been very blessed to have two boys – and I really think God knew what he was doing when He gave me boys instead of girls. I’m such a sucker for girl clothes, and fancy, pretty dresses – that I would be in such deep doggie-doo-doo with my husband every time I went to the store to buy clothes.
But, Boys have great clothing options as well. I usually choose from two stores for the boys for very different things: but one of my favorite stores is The Children’s Place. We get almost all of our ‘every day’ clothes there – and especially when it comes to winter!
I’m obsessed with their premium jeans for my youngest. Their regular jeans (What my oldest are wearing below) are great, too – 
For Ethan’s Birthday, my In-Laws bought him some clothes from Children’s Place and we just had to exchange a few of the sizes – and we saw their newest sweaters on sale for $10! So we bought a few!
I am totally in love with their Sherpa Hoodies. We use these for ‘lighter’ days when a winter jacket is too much. They wash so much easier than a jacket, and with messy toddlers: they’re a lifesaver!
The In-Laws also got Andrew a new Jacket and matching Snow Pants! I love The Children’s Place Jackets – they’re 3-in1, with a great removable insert for lighter days.
Many people think about The Children’s Place as an expensive ‘mall-store’ and therefore don’t give them much of a chance – But I tend to shop their sales and keep up with their email coupons and mailings: Earlier this summer, I was able to score this entire load of clothes for JUST $53.00! 8 shirts, two pairs of jeans, a pair of shorts, and sandals.
Having two toddlers that are just two shy of two years apart, I need clothes that one child can wear, and then pass down to the other. Something that’s not going to lose ‘style’ and look horrible later. And for that I choose the Children’s Place. They have some of the best quality and textures of clothing, creating a longer-lasting wardrobe, that I’m not afraid to wash hundreds of times and then pass down to the next child.

I also tend to try to shop sales, but Burlington Coat Factory is one of my favorites. I just bought a bunch of Boys Winter Clothes for my 5 year old there. He basically needed an entire winter wardrobe and I spent less than $100, even with the new winter coat and snow pants. It was definitely a score.

So many people think that Children’s Place is too expensive. If you shop at the right time you can get some really great deals and their clothes hold up against the ruff and tumble of little boys and girls.

I love children’s place clothes. I always get my kids co-ordinating christmas outfits from there because I can find matching things for a toddler girl,7 year old boy, 19 year old girl and a tween. I am worried that next year the tween will be too big though!
