Dreambaby Bathroom Fun! #Giveaway

Dreambaby® Bath Products!

Emersyn loves taking baths and both kids miss being able to play in water outside like they could in Arizona. So we spend a lot of time in our bathtub just playing and enjoying the water! Emersyn is only 18 months old, though, so she doesn’t know that standing in the tub is dangerous and just moves around as she pleases. So I was excited to start using a bath mat from Dreambaby®! TheDreambaby® bath mat has fun characters as well as a little starfish that changes in hot water. It has a LOT of suction cups on the bottom to help stick it to the tub, unfortunately my tub floor has a bit of texture and the suction doesn’t stick well. The mat is heavy enough that it stays put and works well. My kids love the cute characters and I like that they are safe. I do wish it would be a bit longer to cover more of the tub since I have two kids, but it covers enough that I feel safe. I also tested the sensitivity of the temperature starfish and found it perfect. Warm, baby-friendly water causes no reaction, mildly hot water (too hot for baby but about right for me) causes a moderate amount of change, and overly hot water causes a total change to an exclamation mark. The color then quickly changes back to red when the water temperature is ok again.

Another problem we have with baths is the Emie likes to poop in them. Gross, I know. Then she sits there saying “uh-oh poopy” for the rest of the bath, even after I’ve cleaned out the chunks. So I’ve started setting her on the potty before and after baths. The problem is that her little bum would fall right in and she doesn’t really like being held there. So, we are rally excited to now be using the Dreambaby® potty seat! It has the same fun characters, sit easily on the toilet seat, and has handles for easy sitting and movement. The padded portion also separates from the plastic portion for easy cleaning, and there is a penis guard so Micah man doesn’t have to hold his penis down when he uses it. I’m trying to encourage him to use the potty more instead of his little potty chairs and hoping this fun characters and toddler-friendly design will help ease this transition as well!
