A Money Clip as Tough as Dad – Giveaway!

Alright, at some point we’ve probably all asked our dads for money. My dad always had money on him, and he was definitely the easier of my parents to beg money off of. Especially if the money was for Dairy Queen! Now, Peter always has money on him and he’s my go-to-guy when my pockets are empty. So, every dad needs a good way to carry his money!RCFibers-Wallet.jpg

Carbon Fiber is super tough stuff, so two guys at RCFibers created a carbon fiber money clip and and selling it together with a pressed leather wallet for the tough guy in your life. The money clip can also be used on its own for a super-light-weight money-carrying option (and who says it’s for guys only?) RCFibers sent me a carbon fiber money clip and wallet to review and share a giveaway here on Grinning Cheek to Cheek! RCFibers-Carbon-Fiber-Clip.jpg

Carbon Fiber Money Clip

Overall, we like the money clip. It’s truly very light-weight, it felt like plastic. Peter tried to break it, no luck. It’s way more durable than plastic, or even metal! The coloring is pretty, but the metal itself is smooth with no sharp edges or roughness at all. It’s non-metallic too, which means it won’t set off the airport scanner on our trip to MN in June! RCFibers-Money-Clip.jpg

RCFibers Wallet

The wallet is a pressed leather wallet. It’s thin and sleek itself with spaces for credit cards or other cards and the clip easily slides on, gotta be careful not to hurt the money while sliding it on though. There really isn’t anyway to carry money in the wallet without the clip, but you could definitely carry things in the clip without the wallet. RCFibers-Leather-Wallet.jpg

Ha! Same as a other commenter – I can remember one occasion where my dad gave me gas money too, and that was all!

My dad was always as generous as he could afford to be. Also every year, for trick or treating, we got to go into his change jar and grab as much as we could in our hand for a treat.

My dad was always very strict, in fact cruel to us. He never gave us money, except lunch money. If I were to win this, it would be for my husband, the best father ever!

When we were little my dad wore a fanny pack. It was really embarrassing to ask him for money in public.

Dad gave out my allowance. I don’t think he ever randomly gave out extra money.
