Organizing your fridge with the Home collection by Post-it® Brand, Scotch® Brand and Command™ Brands

This post is brought to you by Post-it Brand. I received samples as well as a thank-you gift in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

With my ever-changing work schedule, kids’ activities, and general house chores: my life needs to be a little more organized. Especially because 2-3 nights a week I am away from home during dinner – I have to somehow communicate with my husband. Typically this has been done on the fridge. Lately though, our fridge has gotten a little out-of-control with fliers and 2013’s recycling schedule and business cards of strangers who stopped by to sell us stuff. We have an abundance of magnets… cluttering up our lives!

home collection by post it brandI needed to get more organized. With the help of the Home Collection by Post-it® Brand, Scotch® Brand and Command™ Brands, I was able to organize and make my fridge much easier to look at and find what we need. The Home Collection is the first comprehensive line of unique Post-it® Brand, Scotch® Brand and Command™ Brand products designed to provide busy families with simple solutions that fit into their day-to-day lives.

Pile of RecipesI have been meal-planning for a few months now. It’s been a challenge at times, but planning has definitely helped to keep my budget to an all-time low, and our food waste to a minimum. I have been printing recipes off from some of my favorite sites. Notice the giant pile of recipes behind that weeks menu plan above? See how GIANT that magnet is? Not necessary any more with the Post-it® View and Go Pockets. I piled up all of the recipes for one pocket.

Organized Side Fridge MenuI also added the Post-it® Planner & Perforated List Pad to keep my weekly meal plans organized – and to have a tear off list of ingredients to buy from the store. This has been great for quickly jotting down all the groceries that I know I’m running out of – or the weekly meal plan items that need to be filled in. I just adore lists!

Meal Planning made easy with Post-it Planner #adAnother really great item I’ve added to the fridge is the Post-it® Dry Erase Planner. This keeps our weeks view in nice order. Like I said, my work schedule changes every day – so my husband has very little idea of when I’m going to be home or if he is responsible for cooking dinner. This has been a life saver for us! He immediately commented on this addition to our fridge. That in and of itself is enough to keep me motivated for using it.

Post it Dry Erase PlannerAnd last but certainly not least: I have very few printed photos of my family. I have full intentions of printing more – but meanwhile, we keep the few we have posted on the fridge. They fall and get scratched and are well played with by the kids. Add in artwork and new found ability to write one’s name.. I need a way to keep these up without making my fridge look like a disaster. With the new Scotch® Display Frames I can put them in the frame to protect and display them proudly (and neatly!)

Post it Organized my FridgeOverall we are so happy that our fridge is organized and gives us all the information that we need, while still sharing the love for our kids and their projects. The Home Collection by Post-it® Brand, Scotch® Brand and Command™ Brands can help remind, plan and display items that need attention or bring a smile to your day. When everything’s organized and easy to find, you can take those moments of time you spent searching to enjoy your family.

I live and breathe by post it notes, but really need to get something like the dry erase to bring my family together. With the kids getting older and everyone having varying schedules it’s a must have on my to do list. THANKS!

Those pockets would be awesome for my daughter’s school papers! We just cleaned off our entire fridge and I almost don’t want to put anything back up, but you just have to! Where else are you supposed to keep track of all the STUFF?!?

My fridge is a lot like my bedroom, it never seems to get to the top of my priority list. But it could sure use this kind of organization! Thanks for the tips!
