Ok, I’ll be real. I haven’t vacuumed my house since we moved in. That’s something like 5 months ago…. oops. Our vacuum is heavy and awkward and it’s been sitting in the garage in pretty much the same place as it was put when we unloaded the Uhaul…. And it probably will sit there for a long time, because now we have a Soniclean VT Plus S-200! The day it was delivered, we vacuumed! The Soniclean VT Plus S-200 has awesome power! It sucked up everything, from wet kitty food pounded into the carpet by little feet and hands, to gritty kitty litter on the linoleum floor, to 5 months worth of cat fur weaved into the carpet by 3+ peoples feet walking on it.
The Soniclean VT Plus S-200 is family friendly. Apart from it’s strong suction, it’s decently quiet, has a HEPA filtration system, and it combines suction with sonic technology. What is sonic technology? From what I gather, it’s like the vibrating toothbrushes.The vibration is supposed to help loosen the particles that suction alone can’t suck up. Plus, it’s green “paramagnetic” motor uses 50% less electricity than other upright vacuums. Totally not sure what that means either but it sounds good!

So, our old vacuum would suck stuff up on hard flooring, but it would make this horrible, loud, kill-me-now sound because it was meant for carpet. The Soniclean VT Plus S-200 has a switch on top for hard floors or carpet, so it doesn’t sound like a dying cow. So I can use it in any room in our house! Definitely a plus!

It’s a bag system, which means eventually I will have to buy more bags. That’s really about it…I can’t think of any other downsides.
