Between selling our current condo, changing realtors, buying a new house (FRIDAY!!), packing for a move, taking care of a toddler and an infant, and keeping up with blogging – Dinner for us lately has been rather… well lets just call it, “Easy.” Throw a pizza in the oven, mix together a salad (the ones where all the ingredients are included) and TaDa! Dinner is served. But then the next night we have the same problem again, ‘What are we going to have for dinner tonight?’ as if dinner didn’t come EVERY night?! The Bag Holder has revolutionized the way that us busy moms and families are going to cook. With the Bag holder you can buy in bulk, create many meals in just a few minutes that will go into your fridge or freezer and only require the actual heating process to serve. Or if Bulk isn’t your thing, you can still create your meals in just a short period of time without worrying about too many excess dishes!
Not only can you prepare meals on the spot or make several meals in advance: you can use the bag holder to marinate meats without ever touching the meats with your hands; you can make cakes, cookie dough and many other deserts and appetizers in the bag. The bag can even then be used as a piping bag by cutting the corner! There is very little mess to clean up after because you didn’t have to mix anything in bowls, then transfer into storage containers and then to your pans. With the bag holder you simply empty the ingredients required into the bag – and zip it up and you’re done! Almost no dirty dishes! My husband and I enjoy having a salad for most dinners, and with the bag holder we will be able to cut all the ingredients (well maybe not the tomatoes..) directly into a bag along with the lettuce – and when it comes time to make our salads – I can just shake it up to disperse the ingredients better, and add tomatoes and dressing!
My favorite thing about the bag is that it will be easy for moms like me who have younger ‘helpful’ children actually do some helping without the mess. Put the ingredients into the bag and then zip it up, and hand it to your kids for mixing. No spills or messes on your counter tops!
If you’d like to reuse the bags to save even more money, just simply put the bag around the bag holder, and wash the bag as if it was your bowl. The Bag Holder is a heavy duty plastic that you can even crack an egg on or bang your ingredients on the side to get every last drop without worry of it breaking; and is dishwasher safe!As far as space saving goes, The Bag Holder can take the place of many of your mixing bowls and storage containers. Also, the box of the gallon size bags can fit right inside of The Bag Holder, creating very little extra space used in your pantry. Just think of all the storage saving in your fridge and freezer as well when you’re stacking bags or lining them up, vs having an over-sized storage container.
Currently The Bag Holder is working on their website, but they have several videos, helpful hints, and recipes on their facebook page which will help you get a better understanding of why this product is a must for every household! Currently there are at least 130 recipes on their facebook page and they are adding new ones every day. By the time the website is up, they will have over 300 recipes for The Bag Holder.
The Bag Holder is much more than just a ‘freezer meal making product’, They will be useful while camping, for college students that have limited space and time, for Crockpot meals, leftovers, baking, decorating baked goods, appetizers, breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The options are endless! The Bag Holder is scheduled to be released to the public in April, 2011 and will retail for $19. With The Bag Holder, you will also receive a 25 recipe cookbook that will easily fit right inside The Bag Holder.
