I’m sharing this particular recipe for two reasons:

One – it’s Delicious.

Two – It’s a perfect recipe to make in one of those aluminum pans ahead of time, and bring over to share with your favorite new mom or someone who just needs a good meal.  You can prepare it ahead of time and freeze it – or simply bring it over before it has gone in the oven.

TacoRitoes:

Ingredients:
1 lb. Hamburger
1 package tortillas
1/2 package taco seasoning
1 can refried beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 cup salsa
1 pkg shredded cheese
Optional Taco Toppings: lettuce, sour cream, black olives, etc..Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Brown hamburger.
While browning – spread refried beans across the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
Add 1/2 package of taco seasoning and can of cream of mushroom soup to hamburger – mix well.
Fill tortilla shells with hamburger mix and line up in pan.
Pour and spread can of cheddar cheese soup over the top of tortillas
Pour and spread salsa over the top of cheese soup.
Spread shredded cheese over the top
Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is fully melted

If you’re more of a pictures person, I’ve got the whole thing here:

Brown the hamburger.  Add 1/2 pack of taco seasoning and the can of cream of mushroom soup.  Mix together.

Spread refried beans across the bottom of the pan. Fill tortillas with hamburger mix and line up across the pan.

Secondly I couldn’t find where to post on your travel posts. Kalahari looks so exciting! And the beauty of the Canadian rock – wow! I don’t know much about computers etc so I may have just overlooked where to comment! It is nice to find more Christians as I explore blogs!

    • So Sorry about that – it never fails 🙂 I just closed the comments on my old posts because of spam comments taking up all of my bandwidth… I almost wasn’t able to keep my page up for the last few days of October I had like 1% of bandwidth left by 11pm on Oct 31st!! So I shut down comments on posts older than 40 days to see if it helps, but thanks for commenting here 😀

Mexican is my favorite food! Thanks for the recipe it looks delicious. A great Winter idea I make with my family is to take an inexpensive roast & place in in a crockpot with tomato sauce, a jar of salsa & a few diced carrots and cook it on low for about 6-8 hours. You can then shred it with a fork & serve it on a tortilla with veggies, salsa & cheese.
    Enjoy.
