SAFESKIN Kids Sport Wrap Blogger Challenge and $100 Walmart GC #Giveaway

April 15, 2012

Recently I teamed up with SAFESKIN® Kids Sport Wrap to bench the beige of traditional sports wraps for my kids in honor of April is National Youth Sports Safety Month.

image

You know when your kids get hurt – the last think you’re thinking about is a fashion statement – But… If their bandaging is something that they have to wear out in public – I’m sure they’re thinking about it… at least a little!

image

Thankfully SAFESKIN® has thought of that.  I mean – It is somewhat a ‘cool’ thing for a kid to walk into class with an injury that everyone gets to sign – but to have a colored sports wrap – is just plain awesome.

SAFESKIN® Kids Sport Wrap is excellent for first aid applications like securing bandages or splints and protecting and cushioning wounds.  It offers superior support needed to get back in the game with bright, fun colors that highlight team spirit and self-expression – not the boring, dull beige wraps adults use.

image

SAFESKIN® Kids Sport Wrap is a great option for on-the-go sports moms’ first aid kits – it’s self adhesive, water resistant, reusable, latex free and does not need clips or pins to secure it in place.

We had the opportunity to try out the SAFESKIN® Kids Sport Wrap – and my kids had a blast pretending that they had owies!

  94. Kimmy Shen says:

Since the Safeskin wrap first came out, I have carried several rolls with me in my first aid kit(which is a soft-sided cooler big enough to hold over 24 cans). I have such a large first aid kit because my son, my husband and several friends race Motocross and when someone gets hurt, even strangers, they all come to me. So it is important to have everything from band-aids and splints to wound wash and steri-strips but most importantly I have to have wraps of all sizes. The Safeskin wraps are perfect because they still allow for movement and flexibility while stabilizing the injury. They are great for holding bandages on during the events especially when the skin is sweaty and bandages won’t stick. The colors are wonderful for the smaller children as it helps them calm down when they get to pick which color they want on their boo-boo and taking the wrap off doesn’t hurt them when it’s time to change bandages. Of course even the big “kids” like having a color that matches their bike and love that the wrap doesn’t stick and pull hair when taking them off. I am just amazed at the new Safeskin wraps and they have become an essential part of my kit!
